Feather Prices

Went to a small shop today in Carpenteria as I passed thru. The owner has packs of 10 (obviously home dyed and repackaged) saddle hackles selling for 40 bucks.

Good on him!! I can't wait for this fad to end though.

Can't blame him for repackaging and selling given the current market prices.
I remember being in his shop with two ladies raiding the feathers at the start of this thing.
Definitely looking forward to this fad dying out.
