After many years of using my Simms Guide vest, I decided that I need a new vest for situations where I don't need a ton of fly boxes (non-spring creek fishing). I went through the vest rack at Kiene's and came across this one:

We sometimes hear the phrase "form follows function" and FishPond has certainly hit it out of the park with this vest. Since I wanted to move from a "vest" to a "vest/pack" design due to a specific set of fishing conditions, I wanted a product that could fit my determined criteria:

1. Needs to be comfortable when weighted down with fishing accessories. This product has
several belts and straps to fine tune your fit.

2. Built in hydration system rather than using water bottles on my hip pack.

3. Adequately hold four decent (large) fly boxes (it can hold more fly boxes).

4. Allows the various fishing tools like clippers, hemostats, flotant to be readily available.

5. Additional storage for a rain jacket, lunch/snacks and first aid kit.

This product is a real winner and very comfortable to wear. Great workmanship and I know it will last me for many fishing seasons.

Totally awsome product!!!
