The Truckee is getting low around the town of Truckee. As it goes down stream it look awesome. The glenshire stretch is perfect. The water around the fly casters section in prime. As you go down stream of fly casters it is still in good shape but getting higher. Know the water well after the L.T comes in. the fishing is still awesome but hard to get at. Be careful. I was in Floriston today and caught 3 fish and missed 4 in an hour. Truckee good stuff. Nevada is awesome but really high. the better you know the water the better you will do. Hire a guide if you want to learn the river in different sittuations. Big fish to be caught by 5% of the anglers. Good fishing for the small amount of fly fisherman that know the water. If not have fun. It is good right now.
