The sky just loads up with so much energy. When these storms come, they march like a fast moving army of continuous thunder. Pretty exciting.

I knew it was just a matter of hours before you unpacked that Nikon and sent
some of your masterpieces our way. Lots of fun looking at the tops of those
thunderheads thru binoculars. Talk about the dynamics of nature. Are you near
the "Driftless" area? Always heard of the great trout fishing there.
Best to you and the mrs,
Larry S

Jay, you lucky dog!!!! Those mid-west thunder storms can be absolutely spectacular.

I'm a total geek for t-storms, only problem is, they don't visit my area too often.

p.s. great pics, like usual....these, and the ones of that bit of water with the toe sucker, as Scott called it.:D

The general alarm in this town has sounded twice in the last 36 hrs. We have had some intense storms that make me glad I have a basement.

Nice lightning shots! Reminds me of the night I thought we'd die on Lost Creek!

That was one of the few times I did NOT enjoy a good storm
