Can't find it: fenwick yellow glass FF1106-3J

I've been trying to find this elusive rod but can find very little info on them. If anyone has any Leeds on one I would be Very much appreciative. Also does anyone fished one? How do you like it?

Sounds like one of the Japanese Tiemco rods. Not familiar with that one though. You might check with The Blue Dun in Tokyo.

Thanks for the quick reply. Every time I try to find more info basically all that shows up is that fiberglass wiki page. I was hoping since everyone here is more geared towards the two handed rods maybe someone would have a lead on some/one. I also have contacted blue dun butbstill havent heard back from them.

Also I'm thinking to contact fenwick directly perhaps they have some NOS laying around somewhere. Only thing I can't find an email address to contact them.

I have a few facebook friends from Japan that Ive been sharing pics and misc fly fishing stuff with. Kiichiro Emoto runs a glass rod company named "Kabuto" and theyre real stunning yellow glass rods, and seem to be held in very high regard in the glass rod community, although I dont personally have one(yet) .

That's crazy you mention that, I've contacted him about making a custom FG two handed and he said as of now he feels the material he makes his blanks made from wouldn't be strong enough for the task at hand. Thanks though. Inguess I'll just have to keep looking around...
