Caples Help Needed

I've managed to clear my schedule for Tuesday and thinking it's time to fish Caples Lake. Can anyone give me some advice on access for tubers. Can I drive to a launch point at the upper end of the lake, or is it limited to the dam/spillway area. I've only fished it form a boat in the past. Thanks in advance for any help. Report (hopefully a good one) will follow.

Aside from stopping along the shoreline or at the dams, there's a road to a parking area near where Woods Creek enters the lake. The road leaves Hwy 88 to the south a short distance past the end of the second dam. Should be good where Woods Creek enters the lake as it must be flowing well. If not, there're some drop-offs around as well. :D
