Any recent Sierra Lake reports

Trying to decide where to go next Tuesday. Anyone been up to Crystal Basin (Icehouse, Gerle Creek) lakes or up 88 to Caples, Bear River Res., etc.

Heard Caples had some open water, but that's unconfirmed.

May have to go on a scouting trip unless I can get some good intel here.

Check the Forest Service website for road closures:

Same for the campsite info. I think the Gerle area is still closed. Good luck and let us know.

Bear River Reservoir was hot two weeks ago, friends caught 6 Browns over 6 pounds and several macs out to 20.
