Headed to Nevada for some tiger trout action. Hit the road about 5:30 and go to the lake about 7:30 with cold air and nasty winds. But I was here and nothing was going to stop me. Tried a little top water but with the wind that just wasn't going to work. Grabbed the intermediate line with my black wiggle tail and proceeded to strip the rest of the day. Had a bite right off the bat but nothing for about 2 hours, I knew the fish would turn on around 10 or 10:30 and they did. Caught fish all over the lake and had a great time. Caught 5 tiger trouts and a mess load of rainbows. All in all a good day on the water, and speaking of water, wow is there a lot of it. I stopped at one of the usually first place you can fish on the south fork of the American and it was flowing high and fast. Probably not fishable for another month to month and a half. And they are repaving the 50, east bound is super smooth.

Imagine if this would have fallen down hill instead of uphill, that is a real big tree, I like the twist in the trunk

When they get bigger they spots actually turn into stripes. I'll see if I can find the picture I have of a bigger one I got last year and post it for you.

Was up there again on 4th of July with no one else on the water, caught tons. Tigers near shore rainbows everywhere especially in the middle of the lake.
