your back in the "rat race" when:
you debark the plane and see 3,000 waiting to clear immigrations
it takes you 20 minutes to find the right line, no help from the immigration people
people start getting stressed out - ya think it's going to go any faster by getting stressed
the guy sitting in the booth gives you the blank stare, then scans your passport
when after you clear immigration and head to carousel one you get run down by some one pushing a baggage cart and trying to text at the same time
you pick up your luggage and then try to find the end of the line for customsmwhen some guy wearing a customs uniform tells you to go get in the other line and not this one, now you're waaaaay back there
it takes you 30 minutes to clear customs and head to the outdoors
the crowd waiting for people to come out is larger than the customs crowd
Now I'm sitting in the Embassy Suites at 1:30am trying to fall asleep but watching arrival flights approaching LAX with the heater cranked up to 85 degrees trying to stay warm
It's good to almost be back home, I think. I'm ready to go back to Baja, I can't wait until October.
