wide angle lens

I am wanting to get a wide angle lens for my Nikon D60, it will be used mainly for landscape and fishing photos. I have been looking at the Sigma 10-20 mm 3.5. Does anybody have feedback on this lens, it got great reviews. Any feedback would be great or any other recommendations as well. Thanks, and pray for lower waters.

I have read nothing but praise for the sigma 10-20 despite being a third party lens. I would go for the 3.5 constant as opposed to the variable aperture. Sigma has a new 8-16 that is getting great reviews, is crazy wide, but won't take filters.
