I attended this event and it was very well ran and interesting. The weather was about as close to perfect as possible and the river level was dropped the day before the event so there was excellant casting opportunities. The lunch put on by the STFF club was outstanding and the price made it even better, free. There was a raffle that included three spey rods and two reels which created active ticket buying. There were a number of excellant presentations and fly tying was also going on. This is an event you don't want to miss next year.

Here are a few photos from Spey Fest. Great demos, food, lots of rods to cast. Spent all day casting 6 wts with lines that I brought with me, a Ballistic Vector mid-belly and a Rio Skagit Flight.

Worth attending next year if you missed it. Gets better every year. So many nice rods, what to choose ?
