Had planed to take some time this week and head up the hill. This weather is the pits! Heard it was raining pretty high up last night. Wonder if that will get the snow pack melting and maybe runoff will be ending sometime in August :)

Up on "top", we got an inch or two of snow.
Absolutly beautiful, if you wanted more of the stuff.
This will drop water temps again.
Been holding at about 42 deg.
River dropped a foot, and ten degrees as well..

Just heard on the radio on the way in this morning, chains required over I-80. At this rate I'll have all the things I've put off to fish will be done by July. I may have to build a new fly tying materials cabinet.

Mike, road melted off quickly. Air and ground temps won't let it stay.
I think another week and we may get warmer.
Fish like the atmospherics, we just need to raise our game.
Mushrooms popping all over, birds nesting, bugs trying....

We are finally getting some sun. Yesterday in south lake tahoe we hit close to 70.....today is supposed to be the same as is the rest of the 7 day forecast. Is winter finally leaving us for the year?

up here in redding we went from rain monday to over 90 degrees today. looks like we get nothing in between this year.
