Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if I could get some info about surf fishing in Fort Bragg. We're taking a trip over there next month for my wife's 40th birthday and she'll spend most of the daytime hours playing with our 2-year-old daughter on the beach. I'll get in on some of that, too, but I don't see any reason I shouldn't also make a few casts.
I have no experience at all with surf fishing. I have an 11-foot, 6-weight switch rod that would seem to be my best option for it. Can I use a floating line, or would I be a lot better off with a sink-tip or other type of line?
Any and all tips will be appreciated, as well as any advice on literature/websites that might be helpful.
