If any of you have been hitting the stripers on the SAC at the Tisdale ramp forget it after today. At 8:00pm tonight Tisdale is scheduled to be closed because of rising water on the SAC. The river is expected to crest several feet over the weir in the next couple of days and will again be flooding the Sutter bypass.
Lake Shasta is already 99% full and has no room for storage so with this next storm and the already melting snow pack it all has to come downstream.
For the shad guys fishing farther upriver around Princeton, Butte City, and Chico it will probably wash this out as well.
On the GOOD side of this though, it will definitely help the salmon that are already on their way.
