Hey guys,
Doug Ouellette, one of the areas best stillwater anglers and guides and I are hosting a clinic at 5 - Dot Ranch on July 16th-17th.
5 - Dot Ranch is one of, if not the best private Stillwater fisheries in Northern CA. It is a 400 acre lake in the middle of the wilderness surounded by huge pine trees. It is almost immposible to get on this lake due to the amount of repeat business they do.
The clinic will cover numerous techniques on how to fish a variety of western stillwaters. Doug has been fishing 5 - Dot for 15 years and has been an innovator of many stillwater techniques since the 70's.
There will also be plenty of free time to fish the lake and catch some of the amazing Rainbows that can get into the 5-8 pound range. There should be some really good dry fly fishing and hatches could include - Callabaetis, Ants, Midges and Termites.
Fee for the clinic is $495 and includes rod fees, guide fees, Lunch both days and some gear and flies.
