Matt---I've been reading the "Burk Buzz" thread. I'm confident that both Andy and Dan will have some fabulous flies in the seasonal shop on West River street (...hearsay is that it is a wall and a counter; although I haven't visited yet). But, you have created some great, original patterns :eek: yourself that have been time-tested as long as, if not longer than, Andy or Dan have fished the Truckee river.

So, I'm going to tout your original creations that are available at ACE Mountain Hardware & Sports on Donner Pass Road. I've fished both your and Andy's creations...they all produce well. I also have to mention that there are at least 3 people who work full-time at the Mt. Hardware & Sports' fishing department who are knowledgable fly anglers, who fly fish the local waters regularly and can dispense with reliable and timely fly fishing info.

So, if someone really wants to cover all bases, they should visit both shops and they would definitiely have things pretty well covered.
