We first fished baby Tarpon in Venezuela about 30 years ago in the Rio Chico lagoons. The water is dirty and the fish are all under 5 pounds but we did hook over 50 fish per day.

Today we have destinations in the Yucatan where the baby Tarpon are in clear shallow water and all over 5 pounds. Most are 5 to 10 pounds with some up to 30.

We fished Los Roques for Bonefish for several seasons but with the political conditions in Venezuela we have those destinations on hold.

We have a new Bonefishing destination that is on the top 10 list of the best all wading Bonefishing destinations.
