Kodak Playsport waterproof HD video camera

I have had this camera for a while now and its such blast to use . Waterproof and a very nice camera for the $$ . I recorded my boat trip today up the Bear river here in N.Utah . Everything is flooded from the record snow pack . I am in my Yamaha G3 1442 jon boat with a 8 hp 2 stroke O.B. motor .

This little camera is not getting the respect it should. Kodak has done a pretty good job with this. Everyone seems to think they got to buy the GoPro or Contour. The Playsport will do it right out of the box. The software is easy to use. Except for fancy mounting ability it does what the "glamor cammers" do for way less money and hassle. LEW

I've got it also and it's pretty sweet. I've been using it to pick apart my golf swing as of late, there is a mode that will capture at 60 frames per second. Pretty good for the price. It will see tons of action on the rivers this summer. Can't wait!

For the money you can't beat it . I set mine at 720 P . I need something other than Youtube
for my movies though . i can only download movies that are 20 minutes max , on there @ 720 /60 HD .
I get the best results at the 720/60 setting and a 16GB card . The built-in image stabilization mode works good too . The microphone on this camera is amazing IMO

For having a noisy two stoke roaring behind me , the Microphone does a great job !! I need to remember , when playing my videos on Youtube , to set the movies ( bottom right ) on 720p HD to get the best sound and picture .
