Kelsey Bass Ranch and McSwain

Fished Kelsey Bass Ranch last week with a couple of friends. The fishing was fantastic. One friend (who has been bass fishing for 30 years) said it was the best bass fishing he'd ever experienced. As usual we caught some surface fish early and late in the day. The rest of the day I caught fish on either a 1" bass fry streamer of a rabbit strip leach. I fished Lake McSwain the day before and caught planted rainbows on wooly buggers. If you're thinking about going to Kelsey, go now! Mike

Way to go Mike...now get over here and throw some flies at the huge carp in Lake Mendocino...just wait for a little warm weather and they should turn on.
