sold In great condition purchased for 50th birthday in 2009. Only fished a few days each in Costa Rica and Kauai. Big Stout rod for big flies, heavy sinking lines, strong wave hydraulics, light bluewater, California Delta. Avoiding seasickness and drowning with my increasing age prompt me to go to lower weight rods plying mellow surf in So. Cal. and occasionally Sea of Cortez and Kauai. This rod flexes top third so medium fast. Likes 350gr striper line and shooting head of 400gr.
