Hello All,
I know this product is not new (been around for a few years) but I just picked it up and found it very useful. It's made by Tightlines Enterprises. I've often lost barbless flies from foam vest patches; this product uses strong magnet to hold the flies. It so easy to fasten the flies and they stay put. The fastening to clothing is done via magnet and metal plate so no worries about putting pin holes on your $300 Gortex jacket.
The only thing you have to be careful about is not losing the metal plate which I did but they promptly replaced it for me. I was very impressed w/ their customer service. As a precaution you may also want to keep the strong magnet away from things like credit cards w/ magnetic strips.
