Heading up for a friend's 50th B-Day party in mid-May, and curious if it was worthwhile to bring up some gear for the local area waters.
Anyone have any thoughts? I am more comfortable fishing streams than rivers (or rivers which look like streams), and will likely only have a few hours in the early morning to get a line wet.
