Before you write it off as one of those nature specials on how amazing the salmon runs are in Alaska and how the bears eat them and all that jazz...take a second to look...
Sadly this ran this night (and 2 in the morning) so if you missed it thats a shame...I'm gonna look for it online somewhere to see if I can find a way for more people to see this one hour special. Its a must see.
Unlike those nature specials....this special focuses on the Columbia River Watershed...and how the salmon runs have been affected. An interesting part was how they clarified that Hatchery Programs are not reviving salmon...take a look if you're interested. This show was VERY VERY good.
