I thought I'd post this picture of chironomids and bloodworms that I throat pumped out of a rainbow last week.
Both of these make up a large portion a trout's diet during spring on our local stillwater fisheries.
A size 16 Phil Rowley "Chromie" chironomid pupa pattern did the trick in matching the hatch.
