California Fly Fishers Unlimited (CFFU) is hosting our 3rd Annual Fly Fishing Clinic on Saturday May 7th. This year we will have a SWAP meet of fly equipment only from 9 am - 11. The clinic will go from 11 - 4 pm.
Please help us spread the word to the fly fishing community in the Sacramento area. Some of us may have friends or family who have expressed interest in our sport. Many times it is better for them (spouses ?!) to learn from others.
This event is open to beginning fly fishers, or those who want to improve their skills, and learn to double haul from our certified instructors.
Classes and instruction will be available for introduction to fly fishing basics, fly casting instruction, and fly tying. Beginning fly tiers will learn to tie a “woolly bugger” fly that can be used for a wide variety of fish. All equipment and necessary materials will be furnished at cost of $5 donation per family. A B-B-Q lunch will be available for purchase. A fly fishing swap meet will be held from 9 – 11 am.
