How good are these heads?? Anyone use them?? Looking for a 600-650 gr skagit head for my winter rig. thanks

Can't comment on your grain window, but i much preferred a 425 skagit short for my beulah platinum 7108 switch, as opposed to the recommended tonic switch head... just my opinion for this particular rod

I have a 500 for my 13'2" 7wt. Great match for that rod, I'm not looking any further.

Bryce Tedford, the local Beulah rep will be at Gristmill next Friday fron 2-7 PM. I'm pretty sure he will have that head there to try out. Call Aaron at the shop to get more info.

If you can, try to make it out to the upcoming Sandy Spey Clave, Bruce Berry(Beulah NW Sales Rep.) will be there & he will have the rods & lines for you to test if you have time. He is also the head line disigner and can tell you alot about the design and function of the Beulah lines.
