You get the higher tide changes but no moon.
I think this is also called "dark of the moon"?
On the 'full moon' and 'new moon' you get the higher changes of the 'spring tides'.
Between the 'full moon' and 'new moon' are the 'neap tides' on the quarter moon phase which are very subtle changes.

Any where we fish that has a tide will have these variables and can greatly effect your fishing hourly.
Tide changes are usually greater the further you are away from the equator in either direction, north or south.
