Charlie is friends with many of us here in the Sacramento area. Some years ago he had Semi-retired and moved to Dunsmuir where he worked as a veterinarian part time and a fly fishing guide, associated with the Ted Fay fly Flop.
Charlie has moved up north a little just over the Oregon boarder to be closer to the
Rogue River for Steelheading.
Here is an email he recently sent around to friends:
Hey guys, will be guiding on the Upper Sac, McCloud, and Pit Rivers this coming trout season...finally got my out of state license for CA and will be down in the Dunsmuir area nearly every week...let me know as early as possible if you have interest in my services but can usually get down on the next day notice from here unless I have previous commitments...looks like plenty of water for this year...had some good days on the rivers here for steelhead this winter...Charlie.
