Rancho Seco

I went down to Rancho Seco today to do a little pre-fishing before the trout derby tomorrow. What i found was 66 degrees water, and the bass are making nest all over the lake. Caught some little males off the nests, and saw some big females moving around. Can't wait to see what happens when they dump all those trout on top of all those bass.

Way to go Gene. Very nice.

Maybe put away the trout rod and break out the 10wt. You could throw a large size Charlies Airhead for those big girls. That is, until your arm falls off at the shoulder.

I'll be at Jay and Ken's saltwater session tomorrow learning a foreign language. :)
