Brownies for Breakfast

I haven't been out a lot this winter due to an exam for work that is coming up. I had yesterday off so I decided to get out for a few hours in the morning and try my luck at a lake that has handed me two consecutive skunks. I know browns are prevelant in this water so I set out early with hopes of finding a few. Got the tube in by 7 am and I started out stripping one of Scott V's frog snots with no luck. The water was chilly, I took the temp and it was only 37 degrees, so I slowed the strip to more of a hand twist and fish on! I had 2 to hand, lost one at the net and had a couple of more grabs. Great morning, was home by 1030 with a smile on my face.
