We noticed that Orvis has an Access Switch series in 11' #7 and #8 so far at $395.00 usd so we ordered a 7 weight to take a look at it.
It arrived yesterday and was shocking.....especially @ $395.00
Other than the famous Orvis Helios Switch rod series, this Access is the next lightest Switch rods we have felt and at entry level prices too.
I just talked (emailed) with one of the Orvis two-handed rod developer today about the Access Switch and he said they we almost finished with the 5 and 6 line Access Switch too. Yahoo.......
We have the Access 11' #7 in 4 piece at the shop and you need to come look at it if you are thinking of a good Switch rod for bigger trout water (AK), Steelhead, Shad and light Stripers (w/smaller flies).
