I fished way up north last weekend. I used a Beulah 7 wt. Platinum spey and a 5/6 wt. Classic switch. I am still amazed at how much water I was able to cover. I have very little experience with two handed casting and it showed. After a couple of hours I was shooting line and actualy hit the opposite bank. While I didn't catch any fish I still had a lot of fun. Thank you to Eric, James from Beulah and Bob for the help.

I can't wait for the flows to drop on the Yuba and the American. If you see a guy trying to Spey cast on the Silver Fork it might be me.

Stay off my Silver fork with your two handed rod, we only like 3 weights and smaller up there. You just might disappear in them there woods.:D

Neither my kilt nor my knickers are made of tweed, but I do have bamboo tattooed on my leg. \\:D/

If anyone is interested I'll be at the casting ponds in Campbell after work a few days next week. I gotta work on the snap C.

Two-handed fly casting is a growing sport but we don't mention it to everyone who comes into our fly shop.

We wait till they are standing at our rack of Spey and Switch rods first.

If you fish rivers it is just a mater of time......
