Dan Blanton used it in his tying demo (a Sea habit) at Pleasanton. I'll be picking up some at the Surf zone event Saturday....:)

It makes tying a small baitfish very easy. I tie in the white and add a few strands of olive and black, add eyes and cover with CCG. Too easy.

I would be very interested in trying to tie smolt with it. Got a pattern for me?

Jesse, just do as I said above with the emulator but tie it in a size 2 or 4 hook and make it sparse. Or just wrap a hook shank with silver braid and then a few strands of black and white bucktail. Go look on the fly tying subforum on www.alaskaflyfish.net. Look for the pattern by Osprey.
