Noyo River

Heading over to the coast to go after Abalone, and was wondering how the Noyo River fishes this time of year, and with this kinda water. I am heading over on Mar 31, and coming back on April 1 or 2. I know the regs, I just want to hear about whether an 8 wt. would be worth throwing in??

As of today the Noyo, as well as the Ten Mile, Navarro and Big are all muddy...and it is raining hard now....The forecast is not good either!

Dang, I sound like a curmudgeon. But I am afraid it is just reality this year. It is unlikely the Noyo will be fishable until we get at least 3-4 days without rain, so you might have a shot by the 31st.
