Anyone here heading up this spring? We'll be up in late april. Starting to get a little restless now that time is nearing.

that fish was caught on a jig with a centerpin and this is a flyfishing board. posting pictures of it on here are like taking your sister to the prom. lol

Dang! Straight front me out. I felt it be appropriate since I am bringing a flyrod this year.........................along with a float rod and a spoon rod. I love diversity! So many different types of runs and holes on this river. It would be foolish to limit yourself with one method. So, how goes it Shawn? I believe I will be heading up to the OP next season. You gonna fish with me?

Don't quite understand the question. Do I go to the Situk other than spring? Nope, I am a steelhead nut. Great silver fishing up there later in the summer. Not for me though.

Can't now, heading to Ak in a few weeks. Next season I am giving Ak a break. That's why I was thinking of OP next season. So, March 2012 or should I get up there a little earlier. Talk to me buddy.

I fished it in October back in 2000. Fantastic fishing for steelies to 10 lbs. (And no one else on the water!)
