Spring celebration March 26, 2011

PCT is celebrating Spring by sponsoring a fly tying and fly casting event on March 26, 2011, 12 Noon-3 PM at the new Lake Solano Nature Center, Lake Solano Park, 8685 Pleasants Valley Road. The Center is located approximately 5 miles west of Winters.

Regional expert fly tyers will be demonstrating their craft and certified casting instructors will be assisting those that want to learn to cast a fly or improve their skills. Fly tyers include:

- Greg Bonovich, PCT Founder/ Member
- Dave McCants, PCT Founder/ Member
- Bernie Weston, PCT Member
- Scott Hoff
- Bob Arwine
- Gene Kaczmarek

A slide presentation sponsored by the Department of Fish and Game describing the State Heritage and Wild Trout Program will be shown.

This is also an opportunity to see the Nature Center in its early stage of development as a regional Aquatic Life Education Center and walk the developed Lakeside trails.

Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and interests are welcome-come join us for some great fun, raffles, and contests.

Free parking; an event donation of $5.00 per family is suggested. The Center is located just south of Highway 128, 8685 Pleasants Valley Road, approximately 5 miles west of Winters.
