Thought i would share some photos of a sierra stream i fish often. Wow... look at all those casings. I was pretty impressed when i stumbled upon this. Had to share it with you all, and what a beautiful river to fish! I could remove my self from society, disappear, and live in this canyon... beauty at it best!

Nice photos. Thank god bugs are so small, seeing a giant bug hatch would be terrifying. I get visions of "Aliens" every time I see a close up of a bug shedding it's shuck. Those photos have me rearing for trout season and like every year the end of April will roll around and I'll go stare at a raging torrent of unfishable run off :(

What is your exact location. GPS coordinates will suffice.

Just kidding. Nice post.

Looks like you could have parked right down by the river.

This is a place that is hard to find. You take about five different forest service roads that are not really maintained. A quad helps get you around obstacles. The hike out of this canyon is brutal, we call it heartattack hill. With the loose shale and pine needles, sometimes you have to crawl on all fours wondering if you will be pounced on by a couger:paranoid: Makes for a well deserved ice cold beer at the parking spot. This is off highway 70. Lots of exploring can be done in this canyon. Absolutely breathtaking scenery!
