Was never too crazy about this guy. Just caught a peice of one of his shows and saw that he was in a wheel chair. Looked on the web and learned hes now paralyzed from the chest down from a "spinal stroke". In the show, he caught a big blue marlin. Fought it from his chair. Pretty cool that hes still doin his show.

I think this happened sometime last year on his way or while they were filming in BC. The guy's a fighter. He does have his way, just like a lot of people I know

Good to see Tred back at it. There's a lot of good orgs out there helping people with disabilities who don't have the means Tred does to get back at it. I highly recommend volunteering time or funds as it goes a long way.

Interesting guy. Not sure but I think he may've been an airline pilot. If so, I guess that's over with. Quite a personal loss. Good to see he's still doin' it his way.... :D
