Hi Bill,

Forgot to send you a link to the video I did on tying a Sandy Mite. Fairly long, just under 19 minutes, I went into quite a bit of detail.

The 2nd link is a little history on Franz Pott, the originator of the Mite series.

The 3rd link is a cool site from the same website, take a look.

Got the cast off my hand and the pins out today, things are looking up.

I guess I better show up for this one. Mark is my dad's cousin and an exceptional tier.

I haven't heard anything about the Mites for a LONG TIME. Woven body flies are really overlooked now days. They do require some tying skills and can turn out some interesting looking flies. This could be time to acquire some more flies for my collection.

We sold them in sporting goods stores I worked in a long time ago.

Sandy Mites and Lady Mite......they were big horse hair nymphs.
