What fly's can I try tying for the Truckee

I am going to fish the Truckee one day this week and then Pyramid another day. I do ok on the Pyramid fly's but I could use a bit of help with the Truckee fly's. I don't want to go purchase any when I can make them at home. What fly's can I tie up that would work well in the winter on the Truckee and LT?

Tough question and I hope someone from the area will chime in. My best guess would be small patterns. Midges, BWOs, and small stone patterns should work. Fish them deep and expect very subtle takes, I would imagine.

Thank you for your reply JD. This moring I made some zebra midges and also a few BWO's it was my first attempt at BWO's so we will se what happens when I fish them.
