I had a sharp shinned hawk perched in my birch tree yesterday. He sat there long enough to get some great shots of him. At one point he started fidgiting like he was about to do something. So he looked right at me, then turned his back to me, took one more look over his shoulder in my direction and, what happened next....cover the young'uns eyes.... was, well....FOWL! Im positive he was looking at me at this moment as if to say, "this ones for you"
I wasnt gonna post this picture, but its just too good to keep to myself.......enjoy!

And since I had my shutter on continuos cause I THOUGHT he was about to do something "interesting". I got the whole sequence. As you can see hes pretty much in a headstand on this move. (or should I say "movement")
I am convinced this is how a bird gives "the bird"
