I am looking for an underwater picture or pictures of nymphs (of various kinds) rising off the bottom with the aid of a gaseous bubble?
Also looking for pics of adults with bubble sheathes diving for the bottom to lay eggs.
I want to see the degree of shineyness...I need to get the idea of how bright they actually are.
Thanks for the help

You need to talk to Ralph Cutter. I'm sure he'll have something for you.

I believe he has a dvd out that shows various sub surface insects. Kienes may have that dvd or he can get it for you.

Try checking out troutnut (http://www.troutnut.com/), The site has lots of images and underwater shots. Not sure if it has what you are looking for, but it's definitely worth the looking at.

Only thing that comes to mind is the work Ralph Cutter has done. Extensive photo work underwater has been his forte for a while.

Ralph's work should get you the goods. What about Gary LaFontaine's work with Caddisflies? I can't quite recall but maybe his classic book had pictures of what you need.
Cheers, Ken
