Need info about old photo

I just received this photo after a 15 year search. On the left is my uncle who is now 94 and on the right my grandfather who passed away at 99 in 1986. This photo is dated Sept. 14th. 1957 when granddad was in his 70's. He went fishing until age 95 when his knees gave out.

I would like to know the location and or any info on this resort. From my memory it was located on the Columbia River.

Wild guess, but kinda looks like the sign at the current Jot's in Gold Beach.
Anyone know what was on Jot's site first?
