Frustrating Winter!

I was driving over the American this morning on Capital Freeway and I suddenly became very depressed. I miss fishing our great local rivers. It seems everything is blown out with all the rain, and more to come.
I remember looking forward to some great Winter FF on the American rivers. Lets hope for a good openner.

The A is very fishable upstream. Can't expect perfect during the winter. It is now below 5000 cfs. I was out the other day, but unfortunately missed the overcast steelhead weather and could only get out and fish on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Are you serious? I would rather have months without fishing due to all the rain than being able to fish with a little bit of rain. I would rather have a great spring, summer and fall. Without all this rain we would have a terrible summer. You have to look at things from the good point not the bad. Now go sit in a lake somewhere and catch some trout. Spring is only 3 months away. :D

The fish are out there i was walking the bike trail near the hatchery and saw multiple monsters jump near dusk. :fish:
