Went to the Southern Oregon Coast the past two days. We hit it right with two absolutely chrome bright fish. Mine is about 7-8 pounds and the fish Jeff took was about 13-14 pounds. This is what steelheading is all about.

I just looked up "mint condition" in the dictionary and there was a picture of these two fish! Stunning beauty. Never gets old. Worth the journey. Thanks for sharing the magic.
Cheers, Ken
One question. Why do they call them steelhead? lol......Talk about chrome, those are gorgeous!!

Gordon:
Well done. You didn't even have to bring out the "trusty bead-head nymph." I'll bet
they gave as good a fight as their looks would indicate (no pun intended.)
