I'm considering float tubing this little lake this week. I fished it once years ago but never got it dialed. I called the Marina, they said it was planted this week but it gets hammered pretty hard after the plant. They couldn't tell me anything about the water conditions.
I hate to drive 2 1/2 hours to find a big mud hole.
Anybody know about current clarity/flyfishing catch rates?
Other tips on lines/flys?
Any info appreciated

I was down around a month ago to get my son his first trout on flies and try out my new pontoon. I'd be surprised if it gets very muddy, as it really has no drainage area to speak of. It's a manmade pond on the south shore of Camanche. We did well on intermediate lines with buggers. Cinnamon seemed to be the color that day.

Bait guys on the Fishsniffer bulletin board generally have a handle on the conditions at the pond.

Let me know how you do.

Hagan Park, Mather and Willow Hill are all scheduled to be planted this week, if it makes a difference.
