There's some info about the proposed sale of Conaway Ranch in Yolo County under "Development" in the Conservation Forum. In checking out their website, I was really impressed that Conaway Ranch is a great example of wildlife friendly farming. It's really managed as a fish & wildlife preserve that produces food. You guys that hunt in this area probably already know this. :D
There's a bunch of research info on the website about how these practices are simultaneously carried out. Plus a few reports about some of the wildlife on the ranch. For example, there's a report about the Tri-colored Black Bird and a 3 page listing of birds, fish and game that occur at the ranch. :nod: You'll be amazed at the diversity involved. Check it out at:
