I am looking for a SAGE XP 9'6" 6wt. Preferably the model with the aluminum reel seat spacer and fighting butt. If interested, I have many high end rods and reels that I could apply towards a trade.

Sage has released for 2011 the new VXP series which is fairly similar to the old XP actions but maybe lighter.

They make the VPX 697-4 which is the 9'6" #6 line in 4 pc with the full wells grip and short fighting butt for around $500.

They have really nice reel seats and are green.

I'd entertain a trade ( this used six weight for a med/fast to fast, four piece, nine foot, five weight of equal value ), " if " it were tied to the purchase of one of the reels I have up for sale.

I have this rod but it is the one with a normal trout grip and wood reel seat. I would be interested in selling it or trading for a nice salt 9 or 8wt rod. Let me know. hoganbrown@hotmail.com

I have a Sage XP 6100 in great condition. Does'nt have the fighting butt and has the woodend reel seat.

Thanks. That is the rod I am looking for, but I don't need any more reels. I have about 6 of them buried in these classifieds as well.
