Picked this book up from Amazon when it showed up in my recommendations. Great read. The author's passion (obsession?) with understanding the insects trout eat shows through on every page. The detailed photography of the insects is incredible. Book is structured around an annual cycle of hatches, so the flow reads like a story, but packs in a lot of technical information along the way. One of the best flyfishing books I've bought in a long time.

I just received my copy from Amazon last night. I only was able to thumb through the book but the photography was incredible.

Bought thru Amazon. Excellent. Adds another dimension to what to fish and when to fish it.
