Terry Thomas and friends just returned from their annual trip to El Salto Reservoir where they caught some really nice Large Mouth Black Bass.

This is a very short distance from Mazatlan, Mexico.

A trip here is around $2,000 now.........plus airfare and gratuities.

The water has cooled off here in TX, yet fish can still be caught. It was in the 70's on Wed., so I hit Barton Creek for a few hours. Hard to get bass to chase a fly, so I used my TFO light action spin rod, Penn 716 bail-less reel, and Gamma 4#. Caught some quality fish in gin/vodka clear. cold water. Nice fish Terry!
